About
BBA was established in 1991 (at former Berlin city airport Tempelhof) as a daughter of Aerodienst in Nuremberg and became independent in 1997 under the roof of ADAC, the German Automobile Club.
Maintenance operations commenced in 1993 and continue to date, notwithstanding a relocation to Berlin Brandenburg (former Schoenefeld) airport in 2005. The first design changes and aircraft modifications started in 2000, the EASA Part-21 Design Organization was approved in 2005.
In 2008, BBA received the CAMO+ authorization to manage the continuing airworthiness and airworthiness reviews. With the Hawker extension in 2009, BBA also started to run its own fully certified avionics department. Furthermore, in 2020, the ownership of the company was changed and the Gulfstream maintenance was also added to the capability list.
BBA is currently fully certified by the LBA (German Civil Aviation Authority), EASA and other NAA’s for the maintenance and as service centre for Gulfstream, Beechcraft and Hawker.
Approvals and Authorizations
Since our foundation in 1991, we have earned many more European and international approvals and certifications as an EASA and FAA certified maintenance organization.
