VIP Cabin modification on Boeing 727-200

Beechcraft Berlin Aviation has started the VIP Cabin modification and upgrade of a Boeing 727-200.

The modifications to be performed on the Boeing B727-200, with a VIP-Cabin integrated in the forward cabin area, includes the refurbishment and exchange of installed equipment in three areas, the VIP compartment, the forward entry with toilet cabinet and the forward galley.

This includes:

  • VIP cabin complete refurbishment of VIP section with new seats and conference tables:
  • Conference arrangement with 2 Steecon Inc., dual pedestal table-manual, HI LO Table
  • Three Double club seats and on single VIP seat from Goodrich
  • Upgrade of In Flight Entertainment System (IFE): This system offers 4 22? HD LED Monitors, control panels installed in each seat armrest, a HD DVD Player and a 6-Disc CD-Player. The system is controlled by a C-Stream Network Manager and the signals are switched and distributed by the Audio & HD Video Switcher.

Medical transport and VIP dual use aircraft

Beechcraft Berlin Aviation has modified a used standard Hawker aircraft into a dual use aircraft. For this, BBA has developed in house modification allowing for a quick interchange between the VIP cabin and a medical transport set up, with proven Spectrum Aeromed systems.

Interior upgrade on King Air 350

During a major overhaul phase Beechcraft Berlin Aviation renewed the interior of a King Air 350, including new leathers and ultra leathers on headliner, side walls, and seats as well as new carpets; a project undertaken with our partner OHS aviation services. Upgrades to the communication system were also part of the package.

Avionic upgrade on King Air 200

Beechcraft Berlin Aviation has upgraded the Universal Flight Management System of two medical transport King Air (from UNS 1M to UNS 1Lw); allowing both aircraft to undertake LPV approaches (P-RNAV & RNP-1). The package included the development of the acordant EASA STC together with Avionic Straubing. This was the first upgrade on the King Air 200 series in Europe.

Note: LPV stands for Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance and uses the WAAS GPS -making the approach procedure significantly easier.
